Exclusive: AirTag Key Chain Reveals Dimensions Of Apple "Smart" Tags

A few days ago, a new Spigen product, (Spigen is a well-known manufacturer of iPhone and other tech accessories) became available for pre-orders. The product, a keychain pendant with a holder for the Apple AirTags appeared on the Spigen subsidiary Cyrill's online shop. On Amazon.de (the German version of Amazon), the accessory is already available for purchase for €15.99, with delivery within 24 hours. Both cases were evidently the result of an oversight, with the Cyrill AirTag case being removed from both sites directly after the start of sales. However, we were able to get our hands on a copy.

Cyrill AirTag Case: Design And Dimensions
The Cyrill AirTag case comes in a package similar to a letter, apart from the viewing window, it mostly consists of thin cardboard. It's rather large for a keychain attachment but also very lightweight. The "Cyrill Basic Leather compatible with Air Tag (2020)" accessory is 100 millimeters long and weighs about 20 grams. It consists of a keyring with a diameter of 44 millimeters and a round AirTag holder made out of "vegan leather" (artificial material with a diameter of 40 millimeters). Out-of-the-box, the product also comes with a small piece of foam, in the expected size of the AirTags. According to this, the AirTags should have a diameter of around 30 millimeters and be 5-6 millimeters thick.
