Updates: iOS 14.4, And More

The test phase of iOS 14.4 and iPad OS 14.4 hasn't lasted very long. The beta began in the middle of December, with the first test build making its first appearance one month later, and one week after that – the release candidate. The same goes for tvOS 14.4, and watchOS 7.3. The updates will finally be ready for users of all supported devices this evening. The short amount of time between development and release means that we likely won't see any major changes with these updates, Apple would take wait much longer until release if that were the case. However, the assorted bug fixes and performance improvements that they bring with them are appreciated nonetheless. Below is a summary of what these various updates entail.

iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4
The 4th update to iOS/iPadOS 14 comes with a well-arranged list of improvements and a relatively short list of release notes, with Apple addressing the following:

  • BugFix: Image Errors With HDR Photos On iPhone 12 Removed

watchOS 7.3 and tvOS14.4

Other Updates
Apple has also taken users of older hardware into consideration with some updates to the predecessors of current system software – primarily in the form of security updates.
